Jean-Efflam Bavouzet interpreta Debussy, Bartók y Fauré

French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet "makes you listen to music as if you are discovering it Eureka!-style," writes The Financial Times: "yes, that’s what the composer must have meant." This recital, an Impressionistic wonderland, begins with a dreamy Fauré Nocturne and continues with some of Debussy's most evocative piano works: the sublime triptych of Estampes, the first book of Images, and all twelve Préludes from Book I, each one a tableau unto itself.

A new initiative realized in association with the Leeds International Piano Competition, the Leeds International Piano Series continued for a second successful season in 2022-23, bringing together an international array of artists for a series of unforgettable solo recitals.
