At the 2025 Granada Festival, highly acclaimed flamenco singer of Andalusian origin, Israel Fernández, presents Mi cante a piano, an intimate program blending new piano adaptations of his flamenco repertoire with his own compositions previously unpublished and unheard until now. Accompanied by guitarist and frequent collaborator Diego del Morao, flamenco percussionist Ané Carrasco, and hand-clapping duo El Jali & Galery, Fernández breathes new life into the traditional flamenco genre. Having grown up in a Spanish Romani family in Toledo and entered into the world of flamenco at an early age, Israel recorded his first album, Naranjas Sobre la Nieve, at the age of 18, and his fourth album, Amor, was nominated for a Grammy in 2020. Now, his compelling, soulful voice fills the breathtaking stage of the historic Charles V Palace of Granada in this unforgettable evening of contemporary flamenco artistry.
