Yuki Manuela Janke

In 2004, she won the renowned Premio Paganini in Genova and since then has been giving concerts with such orchestras as Berliner Rundfunk Symphonieorchester, WDR Rundfunkorchester, Sendai Philharmonic, Osaka Century Symphony Orchestra, Buenos Aires Philharmony Orchestra (in Teatro Colon), National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, and the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Yuki Manuela gave recitals in different cities of Europe, Japan, South America, and was invited to Music Festivals Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein, „Lago Maggiore“ in Italy, „Instrumenta“ in Mexico and Bach-Festival in Bern.

Yuki Manuela is supported by the foundation “Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben” and has been a scholar of the “Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes” since 2005. She is playing the Stradivarius “Muntz” (Cremona, 1736) loaned by the Nippon Music Foundation.

In 2007 she won the Third Prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the First Prize at the Sarasate Competition in Pamplona.
