Tian Xie

He is currently studying at Hochschule für Musik Dresden, with Prof. Danjulo Ishizaka. In 2014 he graduated the courses of Singapore University-Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, with prof. Li-Wei Qin. In 2012 he performed in the Piatigorsky International Cello Festival and in the International Musicians Seminar Prussia Cove. He also attended masterclasses held by Gary Hoffmann, Ralph Kirshbaum, David Geringas, Steven Isserlis, Clemens Hagen, Jian Wang, David Takeno, etc.

Prizes: First Prize The Best Interpretation of Bach in the 9th Davidov International Cello Competition 2016; Third prize at Singapore International Flute Festival Ensemble Competition; First prize at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concerto Competition.
