Thierry Malandain

Thierry Malandain is a French choreographer. Creator of more than 80 choreographies, former dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet, founder of the ballet company Temps Présent, member of the Institut de France's Académie des Beaux-Arts, inaugural director and choreographer of the Centre Chorégraphique National Malandain Ballet Biarritz, this ballet legend possesses a keen and ingenious understanding of the expressive possibilities of the human body. He has already left an indelible mark on the field of contemporary dance and continues, year after year, to add invaluable contributions to the repertoire.
