As an advocate of classical music and jazz in the 21st century, Théo strives to challenge the way we traditionally approach and interact with music, a feat illustrated by his contributions to new media outlets such as medici.tv and PageTurner—which include interviewing the likes of Joshua Bell, Mao Fujita, and many more—as well as his collaborations with artists and scientists from numerous fields. His own PhD thesis intricately combined music composition and astronomy.
When he is not engaged in musical and editorial activities at the Verbier Festival, the Conducting Institute at Oxford, or the Singapore International Violin Competition, Théo likes to be involved in the life of his community through organisms like the CESEL of his hometown, a non-partisan assembly made up of qualified volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds who advise the local government on concrete issues.
