Roman Borisov

Roman Borisov was born in 2002. He has studied at the Novosibirsk Conservatoire Music College since 2010 (Mary Lebenzon’s class). Borisov has performed at the Grand Hall of the Novosibirsk Conservatoire, the Chamber Hall of the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, the Katz State Concert Hall, the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International Performing Arts Centre, the Chamber Hall of the Moscow Philharmonic, the Concert Hall of the Yaroslavl Philharmonic, the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall (Astana) with such orchestras as the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra, and the Astana Symphony Orchestra. Borisov is a prize-winner at a dozen of Russian and international competitions, including the I Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition. He has taken part in the XV International ArsLonga Festival, the XXII Piano en Valois Festival (France), and the V Trans-Siberian Art Festival (Novosibirsk). He has also frequently participated in the music projects of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. He is the Novosibirsk Governor Scholarship recipient. Borisov was also granted with an incentive scholarship by Denis Matsuev.
