Milan Turkovic is one of those rare musicians celebrated for his work as both a virtuoso soloist (in his case, on the bassoon) and a conductor. Former devoted member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Turkovic returns to share his years of experience with a talented group of young musicians studying at Bard College Conservatory, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and The Juilliard School in their performances of 20th-century wind quintet masterpieces by Samuel Barber, August Klughardt, and Francis Poulenc.
