Program notes

Join us in the warm atmosphere of the Parisian jazz club, the Duc des Lombards, for a spectacular concert headlining Stéphane Kerecki’s French Touch quartet. Together with the exceptional Jozef Dumoulin, Julien Loureau and Fabrice Moreau, the group developed a rich and elegant musical style, bringing to life the tradition of the jazz standard with famous French electro-pop pieces.

Bassist and composer Stéphane Kerecki has been a recognised figure in the French and international jazz scene since the early 2000s. Within his own formations and in other groups, he has collaborated with Yaron Herman, Daniel Humair, François Jeanneau, Steve Lehman, Michel Portal, Anne Paceo, Tony Malaby and John Taylor. He was awarded the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros in 2007, the Prix du meilleur disque de l’Académie du jazz in 2014, and a Victoire du jazz in 2015.
