The Six Seasons is Gilles Delmas's fourth film about choreography (following Zéro Degré l'infini, Shattered Wings and Living Chiaying. It follows the creation of Akram Khan's show Desh.

This film is a mirror on the creation of the solo show choreographed by Akram Khan, untitled Desh. This project of Akram Khan is a reflection to its origins : Bangladesh. The film unfolds like a continuity of passages, bridges, and parallel that refers us to a story in which each individual is culturally made. The look of the author opens with geopolitical issues of Bangladesh, one of the most populous countries in the world, developing a reflection on the effects of global warming and economic migration. This film is composed as a poem, by fragment showing images of Bangladesh’s people, and by an artist who immigrated shows us through his dance the dream of his origins. Images supporting this dream back in a studio facing a mirror, where everything eventually would be an illusion...
