Joshua Weilerstein conducts Mozart, with Sergei Babayan – Daniel Harding conducts Mahler's Symphony No. 9 Verbier Festival Orchestra

About

The virtuoso pianist Sergei Babayan performs Mozart's magnificent Piano Concerto No. 25 de Mozart accompanied by the Verbier Festival Orchestra under the direction of the young and talented American conductor Joshua Weilerstein—Music Director of the Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne since the 2015-2016 season.

Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25 in C Major is a mature and powerful work, and the last in a series of twelve concertos written in Vienna between 1784 and 1786—a dazzlingly creative moment in his career in which he also composed Le Nozze de Figaro!
