Experience a grandiose concert performance of Wagner’s Tannhäuser by giants of the international classical music scene: Russian maestro Valery Gergiev, the Mariinsky Chorus and Orchestra, and Mariinsky Opera soloists! Just another captivating installment in the inaugural year of Moscow’s Zaryadye International Festival, the exciting new festival bringing together some of the world’s most talented young soloists (including Tchaikovsky competition winners), established virtuosos, Valery Gergiev, and Moscow’s legendary Mariinsky Orchestra and Stradivarius Ensemble. This performance of the German romantic’s 1845 opera stars Sergey Skorokhodov in the title role, Irina Churilova as Elizabeth, and Yulia Matochkina as Venus. Not to be missed!
