Generously supported by Madame Aline Foriel-Destezet

The Verbier Festival has established itself as a prestigious meeting point for the greatest violinists on the international scene. On the beautiful stage in the Swiss Alps, living legends like Ivry Gitlis, Salvatore Accardo, and Pinchas Zukerman are happy to share the limelight with superstars of the next generation—like Janine Jansen in an enchanting Tchaikovsky performance, Maxim Vengerov in a knockout rendition of Brahms’s Violin Concerto, or Vadim Repin in a duet with pianist Nikolai Lugansky.

In Verbier, music fans’ dream pairings become reality. World-class virtuosos Anne-Sophie Mutter and Leonidas Kavakos perform a rare Shostakovich program; the effervescent Julian Rachlin joins forces with genre-stretching magician Roby Lakatos; and rising star Vilde Frang teams up with celebrated violist Tabea Zimmermann in Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola, a one-of-a-kind work between symphony and concerto!
