Daniil Trifonov plays Brahms, Schubert and Rachmaninov

The former winner of the Tchaikovsky and Rubinstein Competitions has become a regular at the Verbier Festival over recent years. For his recital this year, he performs masterpieces by Brahms, Schubert and Rachmaninov.

Born in Russia but based in the United States of America, Daniil Trifonov is also an accomplished composer writing music for piano, chamber ensemble and orchestra. This year in Verbier, he also performs his first piano concerto for the first time in Europe.
