Program notes

#mediciverbier10 – The 28 year-old French pianist Lise de la Salle performs a sublime programme of music by Bach, Ravel, Debussy and Brahms at the Verbier Church.

Born in Cherbourg, Lise de la Salle has begun playing the piano at four years old and gave her first concert at nine. These days, she pursues her career as a soloist both in France and abroad, performing in major concert halls in Europe, the US and Asia. She gives romantic and post-romantic composers a special place in her prolific discography, including Franz Liszt, Frédéric Chopin, Serge Rachmaninov or Robert Schumann.
