About

Let yourself be enveloped by the "sunny musicality" of Juan Diego Flórez, accompanied by the Münchner Philharmoniker with acclaimed Russian maestro Valery Gergiev at the baton! The concert centers on beautiful opera arias, from Nozze di Figaro to Lucia di Lammermoor, from Manon to Bohème, from Roman Carnival to La Bohème, and much more! An open-air concert presented at the Odeonsplatz, one of Munich’s most beautiful public squares.

The higly varied program is devoted in great part to bel canto, and in particular works by Puccini, Donizetti, and Verdi. Let yourself be carried away!

Qui je suis ? Je suis poète. Ce que je fais ? J'écris. Et comment je vis ? Je vis !  — Giacomo Puccini La Bohème, 1924 ("Who am I? I am a poet. What do I do? I write. And how do I live? I live!")
