Tinghong Liao plays Schumann's Piano concerto in A Minor, Op. 54

Tinghong is a student at Shantou Zhonghe Middle Special Music School, of Professor Burtsev Nikolay Mihaylovich's class. At the age of nine Tinghong became the 3rd prize winner of the "Pearl River Kayserburg" National Youth Piano Competition in China. At the age of ten he became the 1st prize winner of the IX International Frederick Chopin competition for Young Pianists in China. At the age of eleven he became the 2nd prize winner of the 10th International Competition of Young Pianists "A Step Towards Mastery" in St.Petersburg, Russia and played with symphony orchestra.

In his spare time Tinghong draws, studies English, goes in for swimming and arranges private concerts with his classmates. he is expected to participate in this famous international piano competition to challenge himself beyond what he has done before.
