Sheku Kanneh-Mason and George Li play Beethoven, Debussy, Lutosławski, Fauré, and Mendelssohn Verbier Festival 2019

About

The Verbier Festival Academy is renowned for its capacity to find and support talented young musicians from around the world, as was the case with George Li and Sheku Kanneh-Mason. Li won the Tchaikovsky Competition’s Second Prize for Piano and Kanneh-Mason melted the hearts of millions with his performance at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—and is now making his first appearance on medici.tv! Returning to Verbier, the pianist and cellist engage in an intimate musical conversation, performing works by Beethoven, Debussy, Mendelssohn, and Lutosławski.
