Program notes

Renaud Capuçon, Nicholas Angelich, and the Quatuor Ébène are ready for the final concert of the Rendez-vous à Paris series, supporting the essential research done every day at the Institut Pasteur. Join the five-star cast in a five-star locale—the luxurious Fondation Singer-Polignac—for this closed-door event, kicking off in high style with Beethoven’s G-major String Quartet No. 2. The renowned quartet will then join forces with Capuçon on violin and Angelich on piano to offer a scintillating rendition of Ernest Chausson’s Concert for violin, piano, and string quartet in D Major—an instrumental combination that may be unique in the repertoire, providing a fitting conclusion to this unique and unforgettable series of concerts.
