Glass Marcano conducts Dvořák, Maxime Pascal conducts Romitelli — With Le Balcon Festival Singer-Polignac

About

Founded in 2008, the extraordinary Le Balcon ensemble has developed a worldwide reputation through eclectic programming and stylistic versatility. Associated artists at the Fondation Singer-Polignac since 2010, the ensemble returns for a high-flying concert which begins with the Serenade for wind instruments, cello and double bass by Dvořák, under the direction of the star of this year's La Maestra competition, Venezuelan conductor Glass Marcano! The evening ends in style with Professor Bad Trip by Italian composer Fausto Romitelli, composed in 2000 before Romitelli's untimely passing in 2004, aged 41.
