Leeds International Piano Competition 2018: Awards Ceremony

After an exhilarating competition of fantastic music and roller-coaster of emotions, we have made it to the Finals! Over the last 10 days we have journeyed from 24 Second Round competitors to just 5 Finalists. Tonight, we are proud to announce the winners of the 2018 Leeds International Piano Competition!

First Prize – Eric Lu (20, USA);
Second Prize – Mario Häring (28, Germany);
Third Prize – Xinyuan Wang (23, China);
Terence Judd Hallé Orchestra Prize – Eric Lu (20, USA);
Yaltah Menuhin Award for chamber-music – Mario Häring (28, Germany).
