Lahav Shani, Marc Bouchkov, and Mischa Maisky perform Beethoven and Mendelssohn Tsinandali Festival 2021

About

Take a seat and enjoy the fireworks at the Tsinandali Festival , where a dream cast of performers comes to you live for an unmissable concert! The great Lahav Shani, brilliant pianist and conductor, joins violin virtuoso Marc Bouchkov in Beethoven’s beloved Violin Sonata No. 7 in C Minor, and then teams up with legendary cellist Mischa Maisky for an emotional rendition of the same composer’s subtle but passionate Cello Sonata No. 2 in G Minor. All three performers then join forces to finish on a high note with Mendelssohn’s Trio in D Minor, a piece which inspired Schumann to call Mendelssohn "the Mozart of the nineteenth century, the brightest musician"!
