Lahav Shani conducts Lindberg, Mozart and Beethoven — With Martin Fröst Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra

About

Maestro Lahav Shani and the Rotterdam Philharmonic come to you live from De Doelen for an enchanting evening with international flavor: the superstar Israeli conductor and esteemed Dutch ensemble join forces with a preeminent Swedish clarinetist to perform music by beloved Austrian, German, and Finnish composers! The concert begins with Magnus Lindberg's Absence, an homage to Beethoven, before virtuoso Martin Fröst takes the stage for a deeply felt performance of Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Concerto. Rounding out the evening is Beethoven's idyllic Pastoral Symphony, a work in five movements whose picturesque nature fills listeners' hearts with a feeling of peace...
