George Li plays Beethoven and Schumann Verbier Festival 2019

About

“All of a sudden I felt like I had entered a different world. It was a unique and amazing experience [...] people were coming up to me and saying that listening to me had changed their lives. I was shocked. I didn’t know before that music had that kind of power.” That is how George Li described his first steps onto a stage as a teenager, before winning the Second Prize for Piano at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition and beginning his brilliant career. The generous artist is also a former member of the Verbier Festival Academy, and with this recital Li returns to the heart of the Swiss Alps to perform masterpieces by Beethoven and Schumann.
