Dmitry Masleev performs Prokofiev's Piano Sonatas No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3

Described as "one of the genuinely great pianists of his generation" (NYC Informer), the outstanding young talent and gold medal winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition Dmitry Masleev performs Prokofiev's first three Piano Sonatas. 

For the 2016 MPhil 360° festival, Valery Gergiev and the Münchner Philharmoniker put together a musical celebration of impressive proportions! The three-day festival put a special focus on Sergei Prokofiev’s piano sonatas performed by honorees of the International Tchaikovsky competition.
