About

At the 2012 Verbier Festival, the so-called "Siberian Bear" Denis Matsuev presented a piano recital of works by Schumann and Rachmaninov.

Denis Matsuev made his debut at the 2011 Verbier Festival on the stage of the Salle des Combins. A year later, he bowled over his audience once more, this time with a program of works by Schumann and Rachmaninov. Acclaimed for his interpretations of repertoire of all kinds, he closed the recital with an incredible series of encore pieces: from Rossini to Tchaikovsky, from Duke Ellington to Shchedrin!
