The “Siberian Bear” Denis Matsuev presents a piano recital dedicated to works by Schumann and Rachmaninov at the Verbier Festival 2012!

Siberian pianist Denis Matsuev debuted at the Verbier Festival in 2011 on the stage of Verbier’s Salle des Combins. One year later, he kept his public amazed with a program of works by Schumann and Rachmaninov. Acclaimed, he concluded the recital with an incredible series of encore pieces, journeying from Rossini to Shchedrin by way of Tchaikovsky and Duke Ellington.
