Program notes

A regular guest conducting the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, Daniel Harding returns to the prestigious Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where he had previously impressed the audience with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

On January 10th 2011, he conducts the symphonic poem by Richard Strauss, Alpine Symphony (Eine Alpensinfonie), which he will be performing together with the orchestra during a tour across Germany, Serbia and the Czech Republic.
