The second part of Beethoven's complete piano concerti live from the Verbier Festival on medici.tv!

For its twentieth anniversary, the Verbier Festival puts Beethoven's orchestral works in the spotlight: following the Symphony No. 9, which opened the 2013 edition, Charles Dutoit conducts the composer's complete piano concerti, including the Choral Fantasy! The Verbier Festival Orchestra joins forces with six pianists of exceptional talent, among which five are the new rising stars of the piano. A unique opportunity to watch Louis Schwizgebel, David Kadouch, Adam Laloum, Denis Kozhukhin, Yevgeny Sudbin and Elisabeth Leonskaja perform on the same stage within a two-night period!

During the second part of this Beethoven series, watch and hear the three Russian pianists Denis Kozhukhin (you know him if you are a regular visitor of medici.tv since he performed a recital at the Louvre Auditorium in 2012), Yevgeny Sudbin and Elisabeth Leonskaja. The first two pianists perform Beethoven's Piano Concerti No. 4 and 5, while Elisabeth Leonskaja joins forces with the Collegiate Chorale to perform Beethoven's Choral Fantasy!
