Program notes

The Copley Singers, a Boston-based choir founded in 2006, are a congenial group of auditioned volunteers and professionals, all dedicated to the art of fine singing and the joy of communicating their love of this art to the public. Director Brian Jones is Emeritus Director of Music at Trinity Church, Copley Square, Boston, an active organ concert artist and guest conductor with many recordings to his credit.

Today, the choir sings Maurice Duruflé Ubi Caritas, Geraint Lewis Souls of the Righteous, Couldn't Hear Nobody Pray, Andrew Lloyd Webber Pie Jesu from Requiem, Leo Sowerby Psalm 122: I Was Glad, Samuel Barber Agnus Dei, We Are Climbing Jacob's Ladder, Franz Schubert Litanei, Stephen Paulus Pilgrims' Hymn, John Taverner Song for Athene.
