Bertrand Chamayou's Schubert concert in Paris.
Bertrand Chamayou is without question one of the most talented French pianists of his generation. Unanimously acclaimed, he has won many prestigious awards, including Gramophone’s Choice, Choc Classica, Diapason d’Or and three French Victoires de la Musique classique! Bertrand Chamayou first signed a contract with the famous label Naïve, which released his Years of Pilgrimage by Franz Liszt, before signing an exclusive contract with Erato, with whom he just recorded his brand new album, dedicated to Schubert.
The young virtuoso seems to carry the composer in his heart, here performing Schubert once again in a concert at the very intimate Salle de la Balance, where the 19th century lives on. The concert begins with Schubert's German dances, 12 Ländler D. 790 and closes with the beautiful Wanderer Fantasy. The prodigy also performs Auf dem Wasser zu singen, Ländler D. 366 No. 12, 3 Klavierstücke D. 946 and the Allegretto D. 915.
