The Quatuor Cavatine plays Beethoven: String Quartet in B flat major and Grosse Fugue

Four former students at the Paris Conservatory, Guillaume Chilemme, Matthieu Handtschoewercker, Marie Chilemme, and Bruno Delepelaire founded the Quatuor Cavatine in 2010. The quartet trained with such great teachers as Jean Sulem and Boris Garlitsky. They also studied with Miguel Da Silva, founding member of the Quatuor Ysaÿe. In 2012, the Quatuor Cavatine won third prize at the second International Chamber Music Competition (Germany) and won a prize for the best Haydn performance. In 2013 they won second prize at the prestigious Banff Competition.
