Violins, violas, and cellos are the center of attention in this spectacular evening recorded at the stunning Fondation Singer-Polignac. The Arnold Trio starts the program in style with Beethoven's String Trio No. 4 in D and Webern's posthumously published Movement for String Trio, a rarely heard gem. The Elmire Quartet rounds out the concert with Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor!
