Maria began her vocal training in Budapest at the age of 15. There she attended Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music, and then the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, completing her studies there in 2010.
Maria is currently studying with Prof. Gabriele Fuchs at the University of Music and Theater Munich.
While a student in Hungary, Maria performed in a number of opera productions. She sang onstage the roles of Sandrina in Haydn’s L'infedeltà delusa and the Second Witch in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at the Miskolc Opera Festival, and appeared as Giannetta in L'elisir d’amore at the Palace of Art in Budapest.
Maria received a special award at the Francisco Viňas Contest in Barcelona in 2010.
