Egor Oparin

About

Egor Oparin was born in 2005. His music studies began at the age of 6 (Elena Berezkina's class). He is currently studying at the Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music. Oparin is the winner of the Musica Classica Competition in Ruza (2014), Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte Competition in Ústí nad Labem (the Czech Republic, 2015), and the Moscow Regional Piano Concerto Competition in Dubna (2015). He won Grand Prix at the Musical Art Competition (2014) and the 2nd International Young Musicians Competition Dedication to Prokofiev (2016). Oparin has taken part in the I International A Music Dialogue: Vienna – Moscow Festival, the anniversary Yamaha Gala, and the Moscow Welcomes Friends festival (2017). He has performed with the Gnessin Virtuosi Orchestra and the Russian National Orchestra. Oparin won gold medal at the 16th Russian Delphic Games and silver medal at the 12th Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States (2017). He came second at the International Astana Piano Passion Competition (2015), the 13th International Russian Rotary Children Music Competition (2015), and the Moscow Arts Festival Led by the Sun (marking 125 years since the birth of Prokofiev, 2016).
