Philippe Jaroussky and Jérôme Ducros perform French Melodies Verbier Festival 2009

The young superstar countertenor Philippe Jaroussky lends his unforgettable voice to a concert of 19th and 20th century French melodies.

Celebrated for his performances of baroque works by the likes of Bach, Handel, Scarlatti, and Vivaldi in partnership with conductor-violinist Jean-Christophe Spinosi, his insatiable curiosity for other repertoires is testified to in this magical concert captured at the Verbier Festival in July 2009.
