An extraordinary preview of the American conductor Leonard Slatkin leading the Orchestre national de Lyon, of which he will become the musical director in next August. He conducts Berlioz' Corsaire, and Brahms' brillant Symphony No. 1, a score written at the age of 43, and that Hans von Bülow renamed Beethoven's 10th symphony.
