Denis Matsuev and the Orchestra of the Stars at Lake Baikal, for a live concert on medici.tv

The most promising talents of Denis Matsuev's native Siberia were reunited in 2006 thanks to the Ministry of Culture of the Irkutsk Region and the Baikal Education Center. Made up of the most promising young talents of Russia, the Orchestra of the Stars at Lake Baikal here perform under the baton of Leonid Bezrodniy. At Annecy Classic Festival, they play Liszt's First Piano Concerto (performed by Matsuev), Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, the Carmen overture, the music of the opening of the movie Children of Captain Grant as well as Johann Strauss' famous Radetzky's marsh.
