Charles Dutoit, the Capuçon brothers and Manfred Honeck perform Brahms Verbier Festival 2012

About

The young musicians of the Verbier Festival Orchestra star in a programme devoted to music by Brahms, accompanied by their music director Charles Dutoit.

Joining them are Renaud and Gautier Capuçon, probably the most well-known brothers in the classical music scene today and each outstanding solo performers in their own right. Here they perform Brahms' Double Concerto for Violin and Cello with the orchestra and Charles Dutoit in the opening concert of the 2012 Verbier Festival. That is followed by a performance of Brahms' Fourth Symphony conducted by Manfred Honeck in the closing performance of the festival.
