Lorenzo Soulès

About

Lorenzo Soulès started playing the piano at the age of 3. At 5, he moved to Saint-Malo where he studied at the local music school in Thierry Barbier's class. At the age of 8, he entered the Paris Conservatory (CNR) which rewarded him with all the prizes at the age of 13.

He chose Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Tamara Stefanovich as his teachers and moved to Cologne to study with them. He also studied the complete Iberia with Alicia de Larrocha in Barcelona.

In 2012, at the age of 20, Lorenzo Soulès won the first prize as well as many others (including the prize of the audience) at the prestigious Geneva Competition.
