Cristina-Antoaneta Pasaroiu

Cristina studied singing in Bucharest, Geneva, Milan and Vienna.

From 2009 to 2010, she was a member of the Young Artist Program at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and took part in a number of productions. She gave her debut performance in 2009 at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in the roles of Magda in La Rondine and Mimi in La Bohème. In 2010 she played Micaëla at the same venue.

Also in 2010, Cristina sang the part of Frasquita on Elina Garanca’s CD Habanera. During the 2011/2012 season she will be performing with L’Opéra national de Lorraine in Nancy as Magda and as Bianca in La Rondine. Cristina received the people’s choice award at the Feruccio Tagliavini international singing competition.
