24 Hours With Roberto Alagna
Quizas, quizas, quizas...
Let's follow the French tenor in his travel, from Buenos Aires to Versailles.
It is the first time Roberto Alagna comes to Argentina, although he has been invited many times. He discovers the native country of his grandmother on the occasion of a lyrical performance in the Teatro Colón.
Back in France, he gives his show Pasión, a selection of latin melodies including the famous Quizas, quizas, quizas by Osvaldo Farrés or Por una cabeza by Carlos Gardel. By bringing this repertoire to the Opera Royal in Versailles, Roberto Alagna pays a tribute to popular songs. The show also echoes his background of cabaret singer, before he had access to opera stages thanks to his victory at the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition.
This documentary presenting Alagna's double passion for two different music genres features images from his travel, from the recording sessions of Pasión, and also from his concert.
