Leading figure of contemporary music, Thierry Escaich gives here a concert in which he improvises on the toccata - a musical form dating from the Baroque era, but still widely supported today by composers as it offers a lot of freedom of writing. Organist at the tribune of Saint Etienne-du-Mont in Paris, succeeding Maurice Duruflé, Thierry Escaich performs as organist on international stages.
