Peter And The Wolf, by the Orchestre des benjamins du Conservatoire
With Lucas Herault. Conducted by Louis Fima
The younger pupils of the Paris Conservatory (CRR) perform, under the baton of their teacher Louis Fima, and next to the young actor Lucas Hérault, the children's story by Prokofiev: Peter And The Wolf.
Composed and then premiered in 1936, this work by Prokofiev was commissioned by the Central Children's Theatre in Moscow. It is a musical symphony for children, also spoken by a narrator, who tells the story of a Russian little boy, Peter, and his adventures with the animals of the forest clearing around him. Among them, there is of course a terrible wolf...
