Jinxu Xiahou

Born Dec. 26, 1990 in Zibo (China).


Xiahou Jinxu was born in the city of Zibo in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong.

He has been studying with Prof. Wang Xianlin at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing since 2008.

His first onstage role was Basilio in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. In December 2009 he sang the part of Triquet in Tchaikovski’s Eugene Onegin at Tianqiao Opera House in Beijing. During his first visit to Europe in 2010, Xiahou Jinxu performed at the annual “Classic Night” in Zurich at the invitation of the Verein Opera.

Xiahou Jinxu is a 2011 finalist of the Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition.
