The concerts will take place in about 20 venues, from baroque landmarks to the modern architecture of a manufactory, offer the suitable atmosphere for the concerts of the versatile program and thus create a unique combination of ambience and music. The variety rank from the Semperoper, Kartendaten - Nutzungsbedingungen, Karte, Satellit, Albertinum (Inner Courtyard), Bruehlsche Terrasse, Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau, Deutsches Hygiene-Museum, Felsenbühne Rathen, Festspielhaus Hellerau, Frauenkirche, Jagdschloss Graupa, Kathedrale, Kleines Haus, Konzerthaus Berlin, Kreuzkirche, Palais im Großen Garten, Residenzschloss (Small Courtyard), Schauspielhaus, Schloss Albrechtsberg, Schloss Pillnitz to Schloss Wackerbarth and last but not least to Volkswagen's »Die Gläserne Manufaktur«, where the New York Philharmonic's concert of May 14 will be held. An uncommon place for a concert hall, this Volkswagen production site is the place where the luxury class car Phaeton is manufactured, while making a communicative event out of the building’s open transparent architecture.. Volkswagen's »Die Gläserne Manufaktur« does not only provide a unique stage for art and culture but is one main partner and sponsor of the Dresden Music Festival.
