Very interested in classical music and opera, Clément Hervieu-Léger becomes the assistant of the stage director Patrice Chéreau for a few productions, notably Cosi fan tutte at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence in 2005, and Tristan und Isolde at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan in 2007.
