A portrait of the French accordionist
The son of an accordion teacher, Richard Galliano made his debut with this instrument at 4. Adolescent, he falls in love with jazz music and has the chance to meet artists like Claude Nougaro or Astor Piazzolla. By imposing the accordion in jazz music, he will finally manage to bind together his two main passions.
This film goes to meet Galliano, first in Nice, where the musician spent his childhood, then in Paris, for the organization of the overture of the concert, dedicated to Bach and Piazzolla, at the Saint-Germain Jazz Festival.
